This Privacy Policy explains how Lytt ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website and join our waitlist. It is written with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) in mind. The Lytt app is not yet available; when it launches, an expanded policy covering the app will apply.

2. What we collect

• Information you give us: your email address and the city you select when you join the waitlist.
• Basic technical data: if you consent to analytics, we may collect aggregate, privacy-friendly usage data such as page views and general device or browser type. We do not build advertising profiles on this site.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment details, photos, or precise location on this website.

3. How we use it

• To tell you when Lytt opens in your city and to send you occasional waitlist updates.
• To understand how many people are interested and where, so we know where to launch.

We will only email you about Lytt, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Legal basis (for EEA and UK users)

• Consent: for joining the waitlist and for any optional analytics.
• Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, and improve the website.

5. How we share it

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the waitlist (for example, our database, hosting, and email providers), and only as needed to operate the service. These providers process your data under their own privacy terms and our instructions.

6. Data retention

We keep your waitlist details until Lytt launches in your city or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

7. International transfers

If you are located outside Canada, your information may be processed in Canada or in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Your rights
